Legislative Update
-
Our business community is essential to a robust local economy, and while we can control some aspects of how business is conducted, we cannot control everything. Our Federal and State governments enact laws that impact how companies operate. As business leaders, you should know what legislation is being considered in Richmond and Washington and the impact on your business.
The Legislative Committee has worked hard to encourage laws and policies that are favorable for businesses. We want to serve you more effectively, and this year we will.
Follow your Chamber as we share information on bills that will impact our community's businesses. We will track those bills so you may contact your legislators about whether they should support or not support respective legislative actions.
