Buy Local

Buy Local Header

See you at the 2023 Buy Local Business Showcase on Wednesday, November 8th starting at 3:45pm at The Inn at Virginia Tech!

The Buy Local Business Showcase is a pivotal event that celebrates the diverse and dynamic range of local businesses that form the backbone of our community. During the holiday season, the significance of buying local is magnified, as every dollar spent at a local establishment has a multiplier effect within the community. By choosing to shop local, consumers not only get unique and personalized products and services but also contribute to job creation, the support of local families, and the strengthening of community bonds. Moreover, buying local ensures that a larger portion of the money remains within the community, fostering economic resilience and self-sufficiency. Especially during the holidays, when consumption is at its peak, making the choice to support local businesses can be the gift that keeps on giving, fueling the vitality and growth of the local economy.

#BuyLocal #MyFootprint

Buy Local means purchasing goods and services from locally-owned and locally-operated businesses in Montgomery County. This means supporting small businesses as well as our large retailers located in our community. Buying local keeps money in the community, regardless of chain or small businesses.
