On a national level, minority-owned businesses make up 15% of all companies. In our community, that number may be less. Minority businesses often have different needs and face other challenges. We brought in business owners from multiple ethnicities and races in the late Fall of 2020 to identify issues and barriers, such as the community’s culture, and break into an existing culture, stereotyping, access to resources and building a competitive brand. We are proud to share members of our minority business accelerator and those positioned to serve the residents, citizens, businesses in our community.
