Minority Business Accelerator

* Please note, this group is open to minority-owned businesses that are both Chamber members and non-members. 

Background: The Chamber has discussed this concept for several years, but we had not executed it until the pandemic. 2020 brought more awareness to the needs of local minority-owned businesses. Our Chamber moved quickly to ensure that our companies were aware of resources available at the federal and local levels. In August 2020, we began to formulate a strategy that would serve those who could be underserved. A group of minority-owned businesses (members and non-member) was invited to an open forum in November 2020, where we began our data collection.

Purpose: This accelerator will guide and assist the Chamber in providing the best foundation and resources to minority-owned businesses to ensure their success in our community. Your Chamber wants to capitalize on the bright spots collected in November and build or enhance business structures. This data was:

• Keep funds here
• Build a stronger network
• BE INTENTIONAL IN EVERYTHING
• Determining how to engage in the community and build awareness

• Native American-owned

• Women-owned
