We are a local employees and students who volunteer our time and energy to promote STEM in the New River Valley. We are truly excited about robotics and the cool things that happen when young students see what a difference science, technology, engineering and math can make! We are organized as a 501(c)3 and host multiple robotics tournaments every year.
New River Robotics Association is the non-profit host of FIRST Tech Challenge team 4924, the Tuxedo Pandas, and is extremely proud of their lab/workshop space at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. Volunteers are available to help interested students learn about robotics, machine tools, software programming, fabrication and team leadership skills - look for the ''Panda for a Day'' opportunities on the TuxedoPandas.org website.
