Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI), a Davey Tree Company, is one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s leading environmental and cultural consulting firms. We have grown from a one-person wetland consulting firm in 1991 to more than 200 staff, and along the way have earned an excellent reputation in the industry, with regulators, and with our clients, including state agencies and local governments.
WSSI is headquartered in Gainesville, Virginia, and has regional offices to serve southwest Virginia, central Virginia, Hampton Roads, and Maryland. Our experience is extensive: since 1991 WSSI has worked on ±10,000 projects across ±400,000 acres. We also have created and restored over 1,000 acres of wetlands and designed more than 73 miles miles of stream restoration. In November 2020, WSSI acquired EEE Consulting, Inc. (3e), expanding our southwestern and central Virginia offices. 3e brought additional experience with environmental and natural resource studies, documentation, permitting, and engineering for many local and regional government projects, including experience in Montgomery County and around the New River Valley.
