The program includes works by Vijay Iyer and Jessie Montgomery, the music of Ornette Coleman and Duke Ellington, and a reimagination of Dvorák’s American Quartet, in which the composer’s original melodies meet PUBLIQuartet’s blues, jazz, and rock-inflected improvisations.
